Our Partners
To make sure our comprehensive plan best reflect the visions of Philadelphians, we need to have a wide variety of people at the table helping us set goals. Our partners span from city agencies, to community groups, to you! Learn more about our partners below.
Philadelphia
Residents
The voices of Philadelphia’s residents are at the heart of this comprehensive plan. Your experiences, ideas, and priorities shape the vision for the city’s future, and your input ensures the plan reflects the needs of all who call Philadelphia home.
To make your voice heard, fill out one or more of our vision cards which can be found here.
Community Groups
Local organizations and neighborhood-based groups bring essential on-the-ground knowledge to the planning process. Their leadership and advocacy help ensure the plan addresses real community concerns and supports equitable development across all parts of the city. More information about how to get involved as a community group will be shared soon.
Community Partners
The Community Partners will help us hear from Philadelphia residents uniquely impacted by planning decisions. Through these discussions, the communities called in will be able to share their stories, envision their future, and ensure that their ideas are included in the City’s updated Comprehensive Plan.
Steering Committee
Our Steering Committee is composed of residents and city commission representatives. This group helps serve as a check point for the Planning Commission to ground-truth research.
Exchange Committee
Departments across the City of Philadelphia are essential to the planning process to make sure we create a unified vision. Meeting with various departments helps us understand what their respective goals are, and create goals and recommendations that bolster the work of our fellow agencies.
